Privacyverklaring

Op deze pagina kunt u mijn privacyverklaring lezen. Ik heb een dynamisch bedrijf, wat betekent dat deze voorwaarden te allen tijde kunnen worden gewijzigd of aangevuld. De nieuwe voorwaarden gelden vanaf de datum van wijziging (zie onderaan deze pagina).

1. Inleiding

Voor de leesbaarheid van deze verklaring heb ik de ik-vorm gebruikt. “Ik”, “mij” of “mijn” staat voor mijn bedrijf “Kathelijn Brouwers”. “U”, “uw” of “jouw” staat voor uw bedrijf, of u als klant of bezoeker van mijn website. “Wij”, “ons” of “onze” staat voor wanneer ik over u en mij samen spreek. Waar “samenwerking” of “overeenkomst” staat, gaat het om diensten die ik aanbied en die u afneemt. Waar “website” staat, bedoel ik deze website met de domeinnaam kathelijnbrouwers.com.

3. Intellectuele eigendomsrechten

Ik heb de intellectuele eigendomsrechten op de inhoud van deze website en al mijn diensten en producten. Dit betekent dat u teksten of inhoud niet zomaar mag gebruiken voor eigen publicaties, en dat u deze niet mag kopiëren of verspreiden online. Mijn blogs mag u wel delen op social media. Wilt u toch teksten of content gebruiken, vraag dan eerst mijn toestemming.

4. Privacyovereenkomst

Omdat ik alles wil doen om uw privacy te beschermen, houd ik mij aan de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG). Deze privacyverklaring geldt wanneer u mijn website bezoekt en wanneer u gebruik maakt van mijn diensten, zowel online als offline.

Door mijn website te bezoeken en/of gegevens met mij te delen, stemt u in met deze privacyverklaring.

5. Beveiligde verbinding

De gegevens die u op mijn website met mij deelt, worden via een beveiligde verbinding (SSL) naar mij verstuurd.

6. Derden

Alles wat u met mij deelt tijdens een sessie blijft strikt vertrouwelijk. Soms ben ik echter wettelijk verplicht om gegevens te delen, bijvoorbeeld bij een strafrechtelijk onderzoek. Ik zal uw gegevens nooit aan derden geven met commerciële doeleinden.

7. Welke gegevens worden verzameld?

  • Persoonsgegevens die u actief aan mij verstrekt: bijvoorbeeld als u zich inschrijft voor mijn gratis nieuwsbrief, vraag ik uw voornaam en e-mailadres. Ik verzamel geen gegevens die u niet vrijwillig verstrekt. Deze gegevens worden veilig opgeslagen in MailBlue (mijn e-mailmarketing systeem).

  • Als u een dienst of product koopt, vraag ik naast voornaam en e-mail ook uw achternaam, adres en eventueel bedrijfsgegevens. Deze worden opgeslagen in Stripe (betaalsysteem) en Calendly (afspraakplanner). Betalingen verlopen via een beveiligde omgeving. Betalingsgegevens worden door Stripe verwerkt, ik heb hier zelf geen toegang toe.

  • Voor de meeste diensten en producten vraag ik ook, met uw toestemming, geboortedata om uw Human Design kaart te kunnen berekenen.

  • Automatisch verzamelde technische gegevens: bijvoorbeeld IP-adres, browser en locatie (regio/land). Deze komen via cookies en kunnen via uw browserinstellingen worden aangepast.

  • Als u mijn e-mails ontvangt via MailBlue, worden technische gegevens over openen en klikken verzameld.

8. Hoe worden deze gegevens gebruikt?

  • Om u e-mails te sturen met praktische informatie over uw aankoop, bevestigingen en updates.

  • Om u mijn gratis nieuwsbrief te sturen als u zich daarvoor heeft aangemeld.

  • Om afspraken te bevestigen en herinneringen te sturen.

  • Om u te ondersteunen en feedback te vragen over diensten/producten.

  • Om medewerkers of derden die ik inschakel voor technische ondersteuning contact te laten opnemen indien nodig.

9. Nieuwsbrief

De nieuwsbrief wordt verstuurd zo vaak als nodig, soms vaker dan één keer per maand. Hierin bundel ik nieuwe blogposts en informatie. Soms bevat de nieuwsbrief ook aanbiedingen. Ik gebruik MailBlue om de nieuwsbrief te versturen. U kunt zich altijd uitschrijven via de link onderaan iedere mail.

10. Affiliates

Op mijn website en in sommige e-mails staan links naar externe websites van partners en affiliates. Ik heb geen controle over hun privacybeleid. Lees daarom hun privacyverklaring zorgvuldig.

11. Cookies

Mijn website maakt gebruik van cookies, kleine tekstbestanden die uw browser opslaat om uw voorkeuren te onthouden en de website te verbeteren. U kunt cookies weigeren via uw browserinstellingen, maar dat kan gevolgen hebben voor de functionaliteit van de site. Bij uw eerste bezoek ziet u een cookie-melding waar u toestemming kunt geven.

12. Toegang, wijziging of verwijdering van gegevens

U kunt uw gegevens die bij mij bekend zijn inzien, wijzigen of laten verwijderen. U kunt zich uitschrijven voor de nieuwsbrief via de link onderaan iedere e-mail. Voor gegevens die bij Stripe en Calendly staan, kunt u mij mailen om deze te laten verwijderen, mits er geen lopende betalingen zijn.

13. Disclaimer

Wees u ervan bewust dat gegevens die u vrijwillig deelt via social media, Zoom chats of blogreacties openbaar kunnen zijn en door derden gelezen kunnen worden. Ik ben niet aansprakelijk voor verkeerd gebruik daarvan door derden.

14. Wat bij conflicten?

We zoeken eerst samen een oplossing. Lukt dat niet, dan is de rechtbank van Antwerpen bevoegd. Op onze overeenkomst en deze voorwaarden is uitsluitend Belgisch recht van toepassing.

15. Update

Deze versie is voor het laatst aangepast op vrijdag 15 november 2024. Ik behoud me het recht voor deze voorwaarden te wijzigen. Controleer deze pagina regelmatig op updates.

Because I want to do everything I can to protect your privacy, I comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This privacy statement applies when you visit my website and when you use my services. Online, when you visit this website or purchase a service or product online. Offline, when you share information with me or when you purchase a service or product offline.

By visiting my website and also when you share data with me online or offline, you agree to this privacy statement.

On my website, the data you share with me is sent to me via a secure connection (SSL).

  1. Third parties

Everything that is shared with me during the session remains strictly confidential. However, I may have to share your information with others to comply with a legal obligation. This concerns a possible criminal investigation. I will never pass your information to third parties with commercial intentions.

  1. What data is collected?

On my website I collect data in two ways. Personal data that you actively provide to me: if you sign up for my free newsletter or another form of free tips and inspiration, I ask you to share your data, such as your first name and email address, with me. I do not collect any personal data that you have not voluntarily provided to me by filling in an opt-in form. This data is stored in my secure database in MailBlue (my email marketing system). Please note that MailBlue has its own terms of use and privacy statements.

If you purchase a service or product, in addition to your first name and email address, I also ask for your last name and address and any company details. This data is stored securely in Stripe (my payment system) and Calendly (my booking system). I always use a secure payment environment for your order. Your payment details are processed by Stripe. I do not have access to them. Please note that Stripe and Calendly have their own terms and conditions and privacy statements.

For most services and products, I also collect your birth data, with your permission, so that I can calculate your Human Design chart. This data is necessary for me to be able to work qualitatively.

Personal data that is automatically passed on to me for technical reasons: when you visit my website, technical information is automatically provided to me by your computer and equipment, such as the IP address you use, the operating system and the internet browser used, as well as where your IP address is located (only the region or country). These are cookies of which you can also see the cookie notification when you visit my website. For more information about cookies on my website, I refer you further in this privacy statement.

If you receive an email from me, sent via MailBlue, some technical data is automatically provided to me by your email program, computer and equipment, such as the operating system you use and the internet browser used, where your IP address is located (only the region or country), and whether you open the email and click on links in the email. I have no control over this myself. If you do not want this, it is sufficient to unsubscribe from my emails via the link at the bottom of each email.

  1. How is this data used?

Your data is used in various ways. To email you so that I can provide the service or product you have purchased, including the purchase confirmation, payment confirmation and invoice, practical information about using the service or product, and any updates to the service or product. If you have purchased a product or service, you will also receive my free newsletter from me, from which you can unsubscribe at any time if you wish.

These parties are of course obliged to treat your data confidentially.

  1. Newsletter

The newsletter is sent as often as needed, sometimes more than once per month, and bundles new blog posts and other information. In some newsletters you will also receive an offer or promotion for one of my services or products. I use the MailBlue tool to send newsletters. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link at the bottom of each email.

  1. Affiliates

On my website and in some emails, I place links to external websites of partners and affiliates if I think this information is valuable to you. I have no control over how these partners deal with privacy legislation. I advise you to carefully read the privacy statement and terms of use of these partners when you visit these websites.

  1. Cookies

My website uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file that a website places on the hard drive of your computer when you visit a site. With a cookie, your browser can be recognized after repeated visits to a website. However, a cookie does not collect personal data that is linked to your identity but only remembers your preferences and interest based on your surfing behavior. Cookies are mainly placed to improve the user experience of this website. These are the different types of cookies that are placed:

Functional cookies: these are necessary for the correct functioning of parts of my website.

Analytical cookies: these are necessary to track the surfing behavior of visitors to this website.

Marketing cookies: these are collected to show you relevant advertisements.

If you do not want to accept cookies, you can set this in your browser. Parts of my website may no longer be accessible if you disable cookies. According to Belgian law, I must ask permission in advance to place cookies on your computer. That is why you will see a cookie notification at the bottom of your first visit to my website.   1. Access, modification or deletion of data

If you have signed up on my website to receive my newsletter emails or any other form of free tips and inspiration, you will receive emails from me so that I can deliver what I promised you. I use MailBlue for this. This means that MailBlue also receives your data.

I process this data as long as you are on my email list and have not unsubscribed. You can always have the data you have provided for me adjusted by sending an email. You can easily unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of each email. After you have unsubscribed, your data will be completely removed from the system.

When you schedule an appointment via Calendly, the date you enter in the form is saved. This means that Calendly also receives this data. Via Calendly you will also receive an email as a reminder of your appointment.

You cannot unsubscribe from emails that are necessary to complete your purchase process. These emails are automatically sent via Stripe. If you would like to be forgotten by Stripe system, simply send me an email. Your data will then be completely removed from the system, as long as there are no outstanding subscriptions or payments.

You have the right to object to the processing of your data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent for the processing of the data that you have already provided to me. If you want to object or withdraw your consent, you can send me an email. You have the right to file a complaint about the processing of your data. You can do this with the Belgian Privacy Commission.

  1. Disclaimer

In some places I have no influence on the protection of your privacy. Therefore, be aware that all information that you voluntarily and personally provide to third parties, such as in comments on my blog, in the chat during Zoom sessions and on my social media profiles, can be read and collected by third parties. I am not liable or responsible for any improper use of this information by third parties.

  1. What to do in case of conflict?

Then we will first look for a solution together. If that does not work, the court of Antwerp will take over. Our agreement and these general terms and conditions are exclusively subject to Belgian law.
